McPherson County is dedicated to the health and welfare of it’s citizens and the environment with the adoption of standards that are necessary and desirable for the adequate and reasonable control of environmental conditions that may be hazardous to health and safety, and promote orderly development of the counties valuable land and water resources.

The McPherson County Health Department administers and enforces the County Sanitation Code.

The Environmental Health Sanitarian conducts inspections and public education / information in the following areas:
