McPherson County Health Department offers immunizations for children and adults. The Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is available to those who qualify. We see clients with health insurance, who are uninsured, and who are underinsured.
The VFC program helps ensure that all children have a better chance of getting their recommended vaccinations on schedule, which means healthier children, families, and communities. VFC is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to eligible children through VFC-enrolled health care providers. Those eligible include children who are 18 years of age or younger who meet one or more of the following categories:
Are an American Indian/Native-American or Alaska Native
Are enrolled in Medicaid
Have no health insurance
Are underinsured (a child who has health insurance but the coverage does not include vaccines)
The following vaccines are available:

Hep B
Hib
HPV
Meningitis ACWY
